Patience Thinning Like Butter Over Bread

Bread, pain et biscottes 5 by Gastonmag

I know I shouldn't be feeling this way but then my patience is really thinning... I just keep meeting people who somehow think that the world revolves around them and they really really test my patience... To me, that's kinda selfish and makes me feel "taken for granted".

This is infuriating... I know I need to be slow to be angry... breathe in... breathe out... breathe in... breathe out...

James 1:19 - My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry

Ecclesiastes 7:9 - Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

Proverbs 14:29 - A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.

The Exchange

Depiction of Christ
Just came back from Easter service in church. They had a simple play about a "garang guni" man who took on the sorrows and troubles of people he meets and who later on gets mobbed by a group of ganster and dies...

No multi-million dollar production but then the story was good enough and message clear enough... an exchange, divine exchange, took place just as how Jesus was sent down to die on the cross for our sins so that we may simply live, have forgiveness of our sins for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans3:23); so that we will have eternal life and have His resurrection power and Holy Spirit be with us as we face challenges in life. I teared several times throughout the play, touched by the selfless actions of the "garang guni" man and reminded of the love of God and the suffering that Jesus went through.

Even More Favourite Worship Songs
Yes, more worship songs to add to my repertoire of favourites...

So You Would Come
By Hillsong United

Before the world began
You were on His mind
And every tear you cry
Is precious in His eyes
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
Everything was done
So you would come

Nothing you can do
Could make Him love you more
And nothing that you've done
Could make Him close the door
Because of His great love
He gave His only Son
Everything was done
So you would come

Come to the Father
Though your gift is small
Broken hearts, broken lives
He will take them all
The power of the Word
The power of His blood
Everything was done
So you would come

Saviour
By Hillsong United

A Saviour on a hill dying for my shame
Could this be true?
Defies the world I see
Yet this is all my heart was longing for
To know You my Lord
To know You Lord

You deserve
You deserve
You deserve all the praise

The heavens wept for You
The earth cried out "Could He be the One?"
For You so loved the world
You gave Your only Son to say
I love you so
Oh how I love You so

Hallelujah to the King
Hallelujah we will sing forever

And all humanity
Aches to find this beautiful love You give
We come to You again
To offer up our lives
To worship You alone
To worship You alone

Spine-Chilling Scream
Stayed back after church service with my cell group friends to wait for another cell group mate for lunch (she was one of the dancers who performed in the play). Then, I suddenly heard a scream coming from my left. Initially, I thought that some of the performers were just super excited that the play was over and was like celebrating. But later, I saw this lady in agony and was holding onto her hair in agony... the scream was so scary... she kept screaming while this lady was beside her, soon saw some ministry staff making their way to her... she continued screaming... not sure what happened... my guess is that maybe she is manifesting... A few minutes later, when we were outside the worship centre, we hear her screaming again from inside and later saw her being escorted out a female ministry staff and the lady was in tears... wow... pray she is OK.
